Thankfully I am not the only person that thinks giving a Hostess/Host a gift is not just a great idea, but is also good basic etiquette!
At Portico we try and offer a variety of gifts that Customers are excited to give, but also the Hostess/Host is eager to receive. Don't get me wrong, a bottle of wine or a bouquet of flowers are always welcome, but why not consider something unique or with a twist that says you put some real thought into it.........?

......And to take the pressure off of you - so you are not running out the door and exclaim "OMG I have nothing to take as a Hostess Gift we have to stop at the Drugstore on the way and pick something up!!!" Consider stocking up on great Hostess Gift items as you come across them daily (or when they are on Sale!). This way, having a "stash" makes giving these small gifts of thanks effortless.
Giving a thoughtful gift to the Hostess/Host will not only set the tone for your get together but will most likely garner an invitation to return!
